About Nanamukh
Nanamukh Chicago started its journey in October 16,2021 as a Bengali drama club, with a small group of enthusiasts coming together to celebrate their love for Bengali drama, music, and storytelling. Over time, it has grown into a cultural organization dedicated to preserving and promoting Bengali heritage and culture.
The name Nanamukh symbolizes the many faces, voices, and perspectives that unite to form a diverse yet vibrant cultural organization. Our goal is to create a welcoming space for Bengalis to come together, celebrate festivals, and share traditions with future generations. With members from different backgrounds and experiences, we take pride in building a diverse and inclusive community that stays connected through art, culture, and festivities.

Durga Puja is not just a festival- It’s a heartfelt experience that brings people together. During this special time, Bengali homes and neighborhoods come alive with dazzling decorations, the rhythmic beat of the dhak, and the joyful gathering of communities celebrating the triumph of good over evil.
This Durga Puja, you are warmly invited to join us in honoring tradition with sacred rituals, Pushpanjali, Bhog, and Aarti, while celebrating the vibrant tapestry of our culture through music, dance, and performances by talented local artists and children. And of course, no Puja is complete without a sumptuous Bhuri Bhoj—we promise a feast to remember! Our festive marketplace will feature traditional apparel and textile stalls, giving everyone an opportunity to immerse themselves fully in the colorful spirit of the festival.

For the last 3 years, Nanamukh Drama Club has performed captivating Bengali dramas across Chicagoland, bringing culture and storytelling to the community. Nanamukh Drama Club is a creative expression of Bengali tradition, culture and storytelling within the Chicagoland Bengali Community. Through our bengali dramas, we reflect social values,emotions,humor and heritage rooted in Bengaliyana.
